Wow, definitely been a while since I posted on here. The truck has made much progress and next month I'll be taking it on a two week road trip. Will post more soon.
The Lazarus Project
Dedicated to the rebuild of my 3rd Gen Toyota 4Runner back in the States. After suffering a blown camshaft it has been sitting in my garage while I'm away. Looking forward to getting back and working on it. In the mean time I have plenty of planning and upgrades that I will work on! Please check back from time to time. Cheers!

More front seats
Well, I was able to find, locally, believe it or not a set of used TRD seats on Craigs List. On top of that they were at a genuine rock bottom price! Sadly enough I didn't save any of the pictures that the seller posted. They weren't exactly the best pictures but still they are well worth the $125 that I paid for them. I will clean them thoroughly then treat the leather and install. I will hold on to my Corvette seats which I will place in my storage unit. The seats are black buckets with TRD stitching in white and red on the tops. All manual controls and very sporty. I can't wait to get them installed on the truck. Perhaps after all the maintenance is done this will be the first or second mod for Lazarus. Cheers!
PS: Everything has been picked up from the apartment. What once looked like a storage unit now looks like an apartment again. I have a little less than three weeks to go now before I head back home and I'm ridiculously excited. I can't wait to get back, get settled and get to work. The truck comes after all of this but as I said I'm very excited about returning home and doing some big things. Cheers!

Some potential good news..!
Well, I've been going back and forth with my old company back home and if I get a yes from them next week then it looks like I will be headed home at the end of January so I will get a jump on my mods. To make sure everything goes smoothly I've already sent off my passport off to be renewed and expect to have it back in two weeks. I expect the fridge and separator will arrive tomorrow or Monday. I currently have my eyes on a couple of items that I'm excited about as you might imagine. Don't want to broadcast yet just so I don't jinx it but keep you posted. Cheers everyone and have a good weekend!

Closed the deal on both items
As the weather gets colder and colder here in Ishikawa I'm happy to say that I closed the deal (finally) on the fridge and the separator. The fridge ended up going for cheaper than I'd seen in the past so that was an added bonus. From here on out it is basically lights and just the Jaos bumper. I may pass on it though and go for another bumper from back home but since I like the thing so much I may just make it my last purchase before transitioning back home. A ladder would be nice too but I'm not holding my breath for that one. Anyway, I'll stop here for the time being.
Oh and great news: another fridge has been posted today, lol.

Only a few more months to go but still so far away...it seems
Well November is almost finished and my apartment is both my sleeping quarter and full time car part storage facility. After selling a field monitor on one of the sites I frequent to another member he decided not to install and I chose to buy it back from him. Got a great price on it and in the end it was shipped to my parents' home. Ok so I do have a couple of items currently on the auction block and I plan to win both of these. The first is just a generic looking luggage separator for the SURF and while I don't know exactly how it installs in the trunk I know that it's not rocket science.
The second is the ever elusive Toyota box fridge; this is the third unit I have come across and I will bid on this one before the close aggressively. This unit appears to be even cleaner than the previous two that I came across
Here is the plug and I want to say spare strap. Will keep you posted.
As it is now I plan to ship everything in January or March. I'm in no hurry to ship everything but by the same token I wouldn't mind having some space in my apartment again. Until next time, Cheers!

Newest addition: Rear Surf Mat
Ok, so here it is; hard to believe it's been a whole month since my last post. Also, I ended up buying back a field monitor from a guy I sold it to a good month and a half ago for $100 plus shipping. I'll work to keep this updated. Can't wait to get back in May!
